About the Event
Discover the soul of Spanish cooking through one of its most iconic dishes, paella.
WHAT YOU'LL EXPERIENCE
Join us for an immersive culinary journey to the heart of Madrid, led by local expert Nat Martinez. This is more than a cooking class; it’s a celebration of Nat’s Spanish heritage, shared through the recipes that defined her childhood.
Together, we’ll dive into the art of the perfect Valencian Paella, built step-by-step from the sofrito up. While the rice simmers, you’ll learn the secrets to iconic tapas: the perfect Tortilla de Patatas, sizzling Gambas al Ajillo, and fresh Pan Tumaca. You’ll even learn Nat’s guarded family recipe for authentic Sangria.
While the paella develops its golden socarrat, we’ll pause for a "Proper Spanish Aperitivo"—a curated spread of premium Spanish cheeses, charcuterie, and traditional snacks. We’ll finish the afternoon gathered around the table to enjoy our creations, topped off with a decadent Basque Cheesecake.
